Wow....Let's Do THIS More Often!

So....I do have a million more things I need to post updates about, but this one cracked us up enough to move to the top of the list.  Tonight we signed the boys up for a Parent's Night Out at My Gym with a couple of friends' kiddos whom are the boys' best friends.  We dropped them off, bidded farewell, and went on our way for a great night of sushi and drinks.  When we picked the boys up later, they were in High Heaven of FUN moods.  We caught part of it on the way home on our phone.

Such cuties.  We got a good laugh and then some from them both once we got home.  (Let's just say they went to bed MUCH later than their normal 7:30/8:00 bedtime.)  I think the late night coupled with the long week of VBS at their school brought about a serious case of the SILLIES.  But....Reese and I really had fun staying up late (~10:00 !!) with them both and got some serious chatting in, which was WAY COOL!  Sometimes kids remind you that they are literally God's gift from Heaven...you just have to be in the right moment to receive it!

A Little Fishing Trip

One of Reese's favorite things to do with the boys on the weekends is to head to one of the area lakes for some fishing.  Anderson has become quite the fan and really enjoys it too!  They usually ask for Mommy to come along on their fishing trips, but I usually use the time to go grocery shopping or snag some alone time cooking in the kitchen.  However, one Sunday afternoon a few weeks ago, their begging won me over, so I showed up with my phone to take some pictures and video.  Had it not been SO windy that day, I could have gotten lots more!
