Funny Boy

Yesterday it began raining in the afternoon and Anderson wanted to go outside and play in it. After he had played for a little while, he decided to come inside. I was standing at the doorway with Everett and told him to make sure and wipe his feet really good on the floor mat because they were wet. He promptly stood on the mat, wiggled his feet back and forth to dry them. Then, he bent over and proceeded to rub his head on the mat while saying "Anderson dry head too." :)

I'm watching you!

Here's a little clip of Anderson playing on the floor next to Everett (big boy sitting in his Bumbo seat!). Check out how intensely Everett is watching Anderson! Midway through Anderson tells Everett to say "cheese!" because he saw me with the camera. :) Too cute!

San Antonio Visit

This past week we loaded the boys into the car around bedtime and off we went on a drive to San Antonio. Both boys "went to bed" in the car and woke up the next morning at "Nammy and Boots' house"! Anderson was thrilled. As soon as he woke up that next morning, at 6:00am, he was up and ready to play and didn't stop the entire visit! Everett did really well for his first trip too! We all had a great time!

Grammy and I took the boys to Kiddie Park, which is a small amusement park that Anderson's grandfather, dad, and aunt grew up going to in San Antonio. It was really hot, but Anderson had lots of fun riding the rides! I'm sure he'll want to go back next time we visit.

How adorable is this handsome little guy?

Anderson waiting at the door for his Aunt Reagan to arrive from being out of town on a work trip. He was SO excited for her to get there!

While in San Antonio we were able to take the boys to see their Great Gran, who was in the hospital following a stroke. I'm really happy we were able to go visit her so she could meet Everett! Anderson make the apple tree picture for Great Gran that's on her lap. :)

Our 4th of July

Here are some pictures from our July 4th weekend. Nana B and Grandpa Billy came to visit for the long weekend and we all had so much fun! Anderson loved the children's parade that we went to on Saturday morning. We decorated his wagon and he rode proudly! Later that evening we went to a fireworks watching party in Addison hosted by some friends. Anderson stayed up deliriously late, but was in the best mood the entire time until he zonked out in the car on the ride home. He's a partier! Everett...? He slept through most events. ;)

Everett Being Cute

Here's a short video of Everett playing on his musical mat. He loves staring up at the flashing lights above him. Such a cutie pie, even in his little reflux moments. ;)

Frowny on the 4th

Two years ago we took Anderson (as a 3 month old) to a July 4th children's parade. We just happened to snap this picture when the fire truck that led the parade came by with it's siren blaring. We've always loved this "frowny face" picture.

Well, this year Everett went to his first parade and we thought that maybe he would also dislike the fire truck's siren. Sure enough... here's his "frowny face" picture! (and in true Everett style, he has some milk on his face ;)
