A few pictures from the weekend...

So, this weekend we did some final prepping for the baby. We installed the infant car seat into the car which meant moving Anderson's seat to the window and putting the baby seat next to his in the middle. We took Anderson out there to show him and he was very interested in the whole deal. He was very proud that his seat was the "big" one and the other seat was "little" and for the "baby". However, when Reese took out the carrier part (the part you can tote around the baby in and pop back into the base) Anderson kind-of freaked out. He cried until we put it back in. So, not sure how that's going to play out once the baby is in it and we have to take him out while still in the carrier!

We also washed and reassembled the baby items like the swing, bouncy seats, etc. Anderson promptly took over the swing and spent most of the afternoon climbing in and out and demanding to hear us sing "Rock-a-bye Baby" and "Ba Ba Black Sheep" while he was swinging. Hopefully the novelty of HIM being in the swing will wear off shortly.

On Saturday we went to Anderson's friend's birthday party at a horse farm. Anderson was very excited to ride the pony! He got right on and had a grand time. The second picture is Anderson telling the pony "Hey Horsey!".

Here's a picture of Anderson playing with his new Mickey Mouse Bubble Machine that Aunt Reagan got him. I've already had to make a trip to buy one of those enormous bottles of refill bubble liquid because he loves this so much!

We took the final picture of Anderson with the Blue Bear that he had his picture taken with every month his first year and then every 6 months his second year. I thought this was the most precious smile! I compiled all the Bear pictures into a little Kodak photo book and it's just amazing to see how much he changed over the last two years! I guess we won't get any rest from the Blue Bear pictures, though! Now that Baby Boy 2 is almost here we'll be taking monthly pictures again! I can't wait to compare the two boys!

  1. Glad to see you all having such an enjoyable time. I think Reese will make a great big brother...as long as he remembers to share the swing :p
